My husband’s job has brought us to London for at least six months (maybe more?).  As I tell our two college-aged daughters, this is my “study abroad” program as I get to explore and learn about one of the world’s great cities.  I want to keep this blog as a journal of my time here, but also to share my adventures with family and friends.

  1. It was nice to hear from you. How is your knitting project going? Rhonda

  2. Hi Rhonda! Hope you are enjoying your time off during the holidays. My knitting is going well. I finished a pair of fingerless gloves for my daughter, which I’ve posted on Ravelry, and have decided to knit another pair! My vest came out okay, but I’m not 100% pleased with it.

  3. What is your username on Ravelry? Can we be friends?

  4. Thanks for liking my An American Abroad – The Journey Continues post. Also want you to know that I love your header photo. And I’m a big fan of the TV show – MI-5 – for 2 reasons -1)it’s a great show and 2)a LOT of London to see! I wish it was cheaper to visit you guys. If you’re familiar with the show “Doc Martin”, they film that in Port Isaac. Absolutely beautiful. It’s on my bucket list to visit.

    • Thanks for your comment! I really like “Doc Martin”, too, though I don’t think I’ll make it to Port Isaac this time. It is beautiful! I’ll have to check out MI-5. I really like the photos on your blog too, including your header of DC, my home town!

  5. Thanks for dropping by my blog! To be honest, I wish I’d discovered yours sooner – but if you don’t mind, I’m going to see where you went as inspiration for a few days trips!
