It’s hard to believe that Christmas was almost a week ago!  Besides celebrating birthdays, our London Christmas included:

Anna liked the fingerless mitts that I knitted, and Mary liked the owl umbrella I bought in Dubai:

We enjoyed a turkey dinner, with stuffing, sweet potatoes and apples, carrots and leeks, and roasted brussel sprouts.  In England, turkey and brussel sprouts are traditionally served for Christmas.

We opened Christmas crackers:

and wore the silly little paper crowns on our heads:

and we enjoyed mince pies and Christmas pudding for dessert — well, Mary didn’t enjoy them so much!
