Last night for Michael’s birthday, we enjoyed an English Christmas tradition – a pantomime show in East London.  This is not what we Americans traditionally think of pantomime, like the mime Marcel Marceau.  It’s a musical show of a well-known story (we saw Cinderella) that includes lots of silly jokes, cross-dressing actors, and audience participation.  We had lots of fun, and Michael thought it was one of his favorite theater experiences ever!  Tomorrow we see the Wizard of Oz in the West End.
